AVK Southern Africa Supporting Small Businesses

In a world where you can shop anywhere, shop local. Small businesses are essential to the SA economy and job market. When faced with the coronavirus’s swift and widespread impact, many were forced to adapt, pause operations or shut down for good. Those that survived initial lockdowns still face a long, dicey road to recovery.

AVK Southern Africa is advocating for Women In Mining Empowerment. WIME as it is known is headed up by a young entrepreneur Elanza Laubsher, who officially launched her business on the 26th August 2021. WIME is all about empowering women, Elanza lives by the following quote: 

"To all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful, and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams."

AVK Southern Africa was represented by the Sales Manager Riaan Kloppers and the Marketing Manager Nicole Singh, the event was a huge success for both WIME and AVK Southern Africa.
