AVK Southern Africa at your service during the lockdown period

"From midnight on Thursday, March 26 until midnight on Thursday, April 16, all South Africans will have to stay at home," President Cyril Ramaphosa said late on Monday, 23 March in a televised address to the nation.

How is AVK Southern Africa responding to COVID-19 Lockdown? 

We as AVK are defined as an Essential Service Provider to the South African Infrastructure including the Water supply, Electricity, Oil and Gas market segments and we wish to ensure our ongoing service is not interrupted during the “Lockdown period.” Our primary concern continues to be the health and safety of colleagues and their families, customers, our business partners and the local communities.

We are committed to being there when our customers and colleagues need us most.

In our ongoing effort to keep everyone safe and remind our valued customers and suppliers that we are in this together, AVK Southern Africa offices are complying to the “Lockdown” in order to safeguard the health of staff, and the wider community we serve, we are NOT suspending our services. As from 27 March 2020 until 03 April 2020, AVK Southern Africa will have Essential Admin staff working remotely. AVK has mobilised a group of managers who will also work remotely through this “Lockdown period” to ensure business continuity, Customer service, Technical, Supply chain, Marketing and Human Resources.

Our group of managers will be able to connect with customers face-to-face via virtual meetings with collaboration tools such as mobile, email or skype, during normal office hours (07h30 -16h30 Monday to Thursday and from 07h30 – 13h30 on Friday.
