Internal Sales Team Scoops the Win

AVK Valves from South Africa win with their improvement “Going Paperless”. Runner-up is AVK Syntec with their “Hot air recycle project”

Susan Montgomery (Internal Sales Manager) and her team won the AVK global LEAN competition. Their entry received the most votes for the Continuous Improvement Award for November 2022 - "Going Paperless". Congratulations to Susan and her awesome team. This is an amazing LEAN achievement.

"Going Paperless" is something we all could learn something from. Physical files were lost or misplaced leading to not meeting customer expectations. By challenging the existing, thinking of new ways of doing things and by eliminating the obvious waste, all files are now available in the system to be viewed whenever needed in the process with no misplacement errors saving time and resources every day.
